{grier ~18 months}

Miss Grier.  What a pleasure it was to finally meet you.  Photographing this little “go-getter” reminded me of how my love for photography really began.  I used to chase my son around in his bright yellow rain boots trying to catch the perfect candid photos of him, and I loved being able to get the film back and see his precious little face enjoying life.  Grier is at the stage of childhood that I miss soo much. The stage where everything is new, and an adventure.  The stage when they squat to the ground to pick something up, and it is just soo cute because they don’t lose their balance anymore.  The stage where your words really have a meaning, and they are starting to understand.  The stage when little things make their eyes brighten up, like the word kitty (not a new video game).  MAN, I miss this age.  I gotta quit thinking about it, I don’t need to cry this morning….
